Ms. Bale conducts neutral workplace investigations, mediations and trainings as a NeuVest® consultant. Prior to joining NeuVest®, Ms. Bale was senior corporate counsel/group counsel handling employment litigation for The St. Paul Companies, now The St. Paul Travelers, in St. Paul, Minnesota. During her eight years with The St. Paul Companies, Ms. Bale was primarily responsible for managing the company’s employment litigation. She also provided legal advice to human resources, business managers and professionals on a wide variety of employment-related topics, including discrimination, harassment, hiring, personnel policies, wage and hour issues, privacy issues, employee misconduct, workplace violence, immigration, terminations, severance, reductions-in-force, and federal and state employment law compliance. Ms. Bale also managed and conducted numerous investigations for the company and provided training to the company’s managers and human resources professionals. Prior to joining The St. Paul Companies, Ms. Bale was an attorney with Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, also in St. Paul, where she advised and defended employers against discrimination and other employment claims in federal, state and administrative proceedings. Ms. Bale graduated from the Gustavus Adolphus College, cum laude, in St. Peter, Minnesota, earned an M.F.A. in Acting from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, in New York City and graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, magna cum laude, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
