Ms. Marso conducts trainings, mediations and neutral workplace investigations as a NeuVest® consultant.
Prior to joining NeuVest®, Ms. Marso was a shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine in Minneapolis, Minnesota and headed the firm’s employment law practice. In her role, Ms. Marso enjoyed the unique opportunity to represent both employees (including plaintiffs in high-profile class actions) and employers in all stages of employment disputes, including internal investigations; state and federal investigations; local, state and federal complaints; and lawsuits. She advised and counseled firm clients on a wide variety of employment issues, including discrimination laws and compliance, trade secrets, non-competition and employment agreements, reductions-in-force, handbooks and policies, harassment, violence in workforce, unemployment, termination and hiring, and EEO compliance. Ms. Marso also conducted employment-site EEO training for workforces, including management training. Minnesota Law and Politics magazine twice named Ms. Marso a Rising Star of Law.
Ms. Marso graduated from Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska and from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jonathan Lebedoff, United States Magistrate Judge, District of Minnesota. She is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: State of Minnesota; United States District Court, District of Minnesota; United States District Court, Western District of Wisconsin; United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit; United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She was elected to, and continues to serve, on the Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association.
