Ms. Pautz is the founder and president of NeuVest®.
Ms. Pautz conducts neutral workplace investigations and preventative and remedial training programs and is a frequent lecturer on the importance of conducting effective workplace investigations, preventing unlawful harassment and discrimination, working together respectfully, preventing workplace violence, and numerous other employment-related topics of concern to employers, lawyers and Human Resource professionals.
Prior to founding NeuVest® in 1997, Ms. Pautz was a founding shareholder of King & Hatch, P.A. (the firm has since merged with another and is called Larson King) in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Pautz practiced law at Murnane, Conlin, White & Brandt, in St. Paul, Minnesota before forming King & Hatch. In her practice, Ms. Pautz represented employers and municipalities in Federal, State and Administrative proceedings. Her practice included advising employers in the prevention of unlawful employment practices and defending employment-based litigation arising from alleged discrimination, harassment, employee misconduct, wrongful termination, defamation, breach of contract, and unfair competition.
Ms. Pautz serves on the boards of the Pacer Center, YWCA-Minneapolis, and the Illusion Theater.
Ms. Pautz graduated from the College of St. Scholastica, cum laude, in Duluth, Minnesota and from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
